FAQs

What types of projects do you take on?

1

We work on residential homes, boutique hospitality spaces, and carefully considered commercial projects. Most of our work involves clients who want a thoughtful, tailored design process and value both beauty and practicality.

How do I know whether I need full-service interior design or The Haus Concierge?

2

What is The Haus Concierge best suited for?

Full-service interior design is best for larger projects where you want us to lead the process from concept through to completion. We also take on smaller projects, including single rooms and more focused design briefs. The Haus Concierge is ideal if you already have a sense of what you like, but need help refining the details, resolving what feels off, and tying the space together in a way that feels cohesive and complete.

What happens during the 90-minute consultation?

3

Your consultation is a focused working session where we walk through your space, discuss how you want it to look and feel, identify what is and is not working, and begin shaping the direction of the project. After the session, we follow up with clear next steps and, where appropriate, a tailored proposal.

What if I am not sure what my style is yet?

Do you have a minimum project budget?

Yes, depending on the scope. Some one-room projects are best suited to The Haus Concierge, especially where a client already has direction but needs help bringing the room together. Larger or more complex room schemes may move into full-service design.

Full-service interior design is a comprehensive, end-to-end service. Depending on the project, this can include concept development, space planning, finishes, furnishings, lighting, joinery direction, sourcing, procurement, coordination, and final styling. This mirrors how many leading full-service studios position the offer: comprehensive support from initial concept through installation and finishing touches.

The Haus Concierge is ideal if your space is almost there but not quite resolved. It works well for clients who have a sense of their style, may already have chosen some furniture or finishes, but need a professional eye to create cohesion, confidence, and a stronger overall thread.

I am based in County Clare and typically work on projects within a two to three hour radius, depending on the scope and nature of the project. I also take on selected projects in Portugal. If you are based further afield, feel free to enquire and we can discuss whether it would be the right fit.

Yes. Architects focus on structure and contractors focus on construction. A designer helps shape how the space will feel, function, and come together visually. Many studios highlight this distinction because it helps avoid expensive rework and keeps the project cohesive from the start.

As early as possible. The earlier we are involved, the more influence we can have over layout, lighting, finishes, and the overall direction of the space. Early input usually leads to better decisions and fewer costly changes later.

Timelines vary depending on scope. A smaller furnishing or room-based project may take a few months, while a full renovation or larger home can take significantly longer. Other design firms commonly frame timelines in the same way: the scope, level of detail, procurement, and any construction work all affect the schedule.

Every project is different, so fees depend on the scope, level of involvement, and services required. We begin with a paid 90-minute consultation at €350, then recommend the most suitable next step for your project. Many comparable studios use the initial consultation to define scope before moving into a more tailored fee structure.

Yes. We can help source the pieces and finishes that bring the scheme together, always with attention to quality, practicality, and cohesion. Procurement and sourcing are standard parts of many full-service design offers on comparable studio sites.

That is absolutely fine. Most clients come to us with instincts, references, or scattered ideas rather than a fully formed style. Part of our job is to help uncover what you are drawn to, what suits the space, and what will feel right for how you live.

We work best with clients who value thoughtful design, quality, and longevity. Once we understand the scope of your project, we can advise on whether your expectations, timeline, and investment level are aligned.
